About Us

Leading with AI: Ignite and build your ideas for a sustainable future. This Leadership and Innovation Lab will come to life in collaboration with the Global Leadership Academy (GLAC) and the International Training Centre of the ILO (ITCILO). As well as associated partners like “FAIR Forward: Artificial Intelligence for All” that take up actionable ideas through additional training and policy programmes on AI.

We’re at a time of global disruption. Yet, these disruptive times open up opportunities for behavioural change and adaptation leading to sustainable systemic development. Exponential technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) are already shaping all spheres of life. Our workspaces and skill sets are changing. More and more automated technologies are assisting, augmenting, and, in some cases, replacing workforces. How could AI better support our future?

That’s what we’re here to find out. Our Lab offers an online collaboration platform for learning and co-creating with changemakers from civil society, private, and public sectors in a multi-stakeholder dialogue. Throughout this 3-month learning journey, participants will share design challenges, engage with international AI experts, connect with a global community to co-ideate solutions, and learn from peers on how to bring human-centred AI-deas to life.

We have four ambitions:

  1. Demystify the public’s perspective on AI
  2. Enhance skills to shape AI technologies towards worldwide sustainable development
  3. Revamp responses to international events through practical applications
  4. Scale up global AI-deas through Open AI, Open Data, and Open Innovation
